Hoi An My Son Tour Overview
This Hoi An My son full-day trip takes you to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating from the 4th to 13th centuries. My Son comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremonies of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam.
Hoi An My Son Tour itinerary
8:00 am. Pick up at your hotel and depart for Thanh Ha, a thriving pottery village from the 16th century. Most of the ancient houses in Hoi An were built from this time. Walk through the village to see the production process as well as participate in a number of stages.
12:00 pm. Leave Thanh Ha and travel to My Son complex. Enjoy a traditional performance of Cham dance and trumpet before walking around with your guide to see the historic and cultural ruins of the 16th century, you will be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization.
2:30 pm. Visit Rice paper making village. At here, you will have change to learn about the history of village, progress of making carf products and try on making it.
4:30 pm. Drive back hotel where we finish the Hoi An My Son tour.
