Yen Tu Mountain, renowned as a Buddhist sanctuary with its breathtaking landscapes and unique ancient pagodas, has captivated visitors from all corners of the world. Nestled on the border of Bac Giang and Quang Ninh provinces, Yen Tu Mountain, also known as Tượng Đầu Mountain, stands tall at 1068 meters above sea level, offering a diverse and rich flora and fauna.

The Yen Tu region holds historical and cultural significance, being closely associated with the establishment and development of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect. With its awe-inspiring natural beauty, pleasant climate, and serene environment, Yen Tu has become a popular spiritual destination, attracting pilgrims and tourists alike from near and far.

The Best Time to Visit Yen Tu Mountain

Quang Ninh experiences the typical weather patterns of the Northern region with four distinct seasons. The best time to visit Yen Tu Mountain is during the spring, from January to March in the lunar calendar. This season boasts pleasant and comfortable weather, along with numerous festivals that attract visitors from all over to join in the celebrations and Buddhist ceremonies.

For a complete festive atmosphere, plan your trip to Yen Tu after the Khai Hoi Festival on the 1st day of the 10th lunar month. However, keep in mind that this period attracts a large number of visitors, so if you prefer a more serene experience or are traveling with elderly or young companions, it is recommended to consider other dates.

From March onwards, the crowds gradually disperse, and the weather remains cool, making it an excellent time for those who prefer a quieter pilgrimage without the peak season rush.
